One Hundred and Thirty-Six…

One Hundred and Thirty-Six: Nature of the Beast

Smoky haze hung around Aubrey’s final resting place. Or at least ‘final’ unless a warlock resurrects her spirit again.

One should hope such a tantalizing, tempting possibility still existed. Especially to Vaclav Haas.

Oh, the endless Shadowvale drama and trauma were getting to him. If only Aubrey were there to hold and to comfort him.

No. It wasn’t the same with Lauren. It never would be the same with Lauren, though he loved her. He didn’t have the same deep connection with her that he’d experienced with Aubrey.

“I miss you, Aubrey. I miss your smile, your big beautiful eyes and ebony silk hair. You were always such a beautiful, strong woman. At times stronger than I. My leading you to Shadowvale changed you, made you into the strong woman you were before you passed on.”

“Our son has done it again. He’s abandoned our granddaughter in exchange for a peaceful existence with others. Part of me understands his reasons, another part of me doesn’t. I don’t know what to do. I feel as though I’m caught in between, and I’m worried about Azura.”

“Also, Lucifer seems to have kept a well-hidden secret. I don’t know how he did it, but he did. This regards a mortal girl.”

Vaclav glanced at the candles.

They flickered off and on as if his beloved had given a sign. Aubrey was listening.

Vaclav basked in this new comforting warmth. Maybe things would turn out okay?

Doors thundered open and closed behind him. He spun.

“Vaclav, it’s Azura. Millificent called to tell me Azura’s had some kind of mental break-down.”

“She said Nicholas wants me to go over there and see if I can bring her out of it. I don’t know if I can!”

“Okay. But you’re not going alone. I’m coming with you.”

He sneaked a quick look at the candles. They were now unlit.

Roughly thirty minutes later they arrived at the Ashworth mansion.

Lauren remarked about how spooky it looked, and shivered.

Millificent greeted and led them to Azura’s bedroom.

“She’s been like this for days. Nicholas and I don’t understand it.”

“All she does is sit on the floor. I’ve had to help her to the bathroom so she doesn’t go on herself. She won’t shower, change clothes, brush her hair, eat or anything. It’s as if she’s lost her mind.”

“What happened during the last few days? Anything particularly traumatic? Aside from her being trapped here in the first place and forced to marry a man she doesn’t know?”

“No. Absolutely nothing has happened that would explain her emotional state. All I know is she was fine three days ago.”

Lauren went over and knelt down next to Azura.

“Sweetheart? Azura, what’s wrong? Why won’t you talk? Please say something.”

“Vacav? What are we going to do? She won’t respond to anything… won’t talk, won’t look me in the eyes.”

“I want to speak with Nicholas. Immediately.”

“Yes, of course.”

Millificent breezed from the room.

Nicholas entered a moment later.

“You wished to speak with me?”

“Hell yes I do!” Vaclav fumed.

“I want to know the truth… what in God’s name have you done to my granddaughter? Aside from forcing her into marriage?”

“Not one bloody thing. And if you’re referring to any accusations of a sexual nature, I’ve refrained and restrained myself. I’m a very patient man. I refuse to take a woman without her consent.”

“Without her consent? You MARRIED her without her consent. But that no longer matters because she’s coming back home with me and Lauren.”

“The bloody hell she is. I’ll annihilate you with demon fire before I allow you to take Azura. I didn’t request your assistance with her simply to be interrogated and threatened.” Nicholas shook his fists.

Vaclav tossed a punch. It felt like punching a concrete wall.

“Guys, that’s not gonna help.”

“Tell that to your husband. Now, Millificent. Show him your best magic.”

She waved her hands around and aimed at Vaclav.

The malevolent substance struck him, scattered and dissipated.

Vaclav eyed her with defiance.

“Stop it. I’ll stay here with Azura and try to help her out of this!” Lauren took a few steps back.

The witch drew out her wand and expended a fireball at Vaclav, as if she hadn’t heard Lauren’s pleas.

This time Vaclav doubled over.

“I SAID I’LL STAY! WE’LL STAY! WE’LL HELP WITH AZURA HERE INSTEAD OF LEAVING. Okay?”

“Now that’s bloody well better. I’ll only allow one of you to stay with Azura, and I’d rather that be Lauren.” Evil yellowish eyes drifted to Vaclav, challenging.

Lauren dashed to her husband, threw her arms around him. “I’m sorry,” she whispered. “I guess this is the best we can do for now.”

Vaclav peered down at the floor. He seemed defeated. However, Millificent’s spell hadn’t hurt him too badly.

“I don’t have time for this rubbish. Make sure Lauren stays whilst Sir Haas promptly leaves the premises.”

“Yes, Lord Nicholas.”

Quiet melancholy consumed the bedroom.

“Promise you’ll never leave me, Lucifer.”

“I promise.”

“Don’t ever leave me alone with the others. They scare me.”

“But you know my dad saw you the other day. I still don’t know what he’s going to do.”

“I know. That’s why I asked you never to leave me alone. I’m afraid Vaclav might kick me out.”

“I’ll make sure he doesn’t.”

“I don’t want him to take me away from you,” she said.

“He won’t… I won’t let him. I’ll take care of you.” Lucifer kissed the top of her head.

Mmm. You make me happy. I love you,” she breathed.

“Love you too, baby.”

Lucifer’s heart raced, hormones raged within his body. He noticed her breaths came more rapidly as well.

“I’ve loved you so much. For so long.” He curled one arm behind her, lifting her to him.

They indulged in a deep, sensual kiss. Tongues met, rubbed.

Yeah. She tasted so amazing. They sucked on each others’ lips so much that a bitter, bloody flavor invaded his mouth.

He positioned himself on top as he continued savoring those tasty lips of blood.

Lucifer, I want you...”

Oh, God, baby, you have no idea how much I want you.

He kissed his way down to her neck, then bit, nipped and suckled madly in an absolute unleashed frenzy.

Mila whimpered. In pain or pleasure? He wasn’t sure. All he knew was his dick was hard as a rock, pointed upright.

Opened wide, his lips slid back to her mouth. Fingers went beneath her bra to fondle her right nipple.

Lucifer arched his back, gasping.

In between heavy, hard breathing and smooching, he tore off their clothing. Mila looked a little astonished but he didn’t care.

Lucifer shoved his cock inside her.

Mila stiffened a moment, relaxed, then moaned in sync with Lucifer’s deep thrusts.

He pressed onward as the bed frame shook, plowed into the wall. His knees dug into the mattress. Over and over, he drew them back up so he could ram her.

Lucifer rose part-way up, going deeper.

That hot wetness inside her grew tighter, throbbed around his prick like a pleasurable, agonizing massage. On and on he plunged and pumped. That tightness intensified, constricting and begging for his release.

“Oh baby. Oh, Mila… yeah god yeah.” His body raced to the finish line. Wouldn’t be long.

Lucifer.” She cried moving her legs up and down his jostling backside.

It all came to a huge blow out ending. Panting, she called out his name and he hushed her.

“Shh—shhh… Dad… might… hear… you.”

That poor bed squeaked its last breath, and had adjusted itself a few inches from its original spot.

Mila rested atop Lucifer’s mid-section.

“You are so fantastic.” He sighed. She laughed.

You’re the fantastic one, Lucifer. If I’d only known a few months ago.” Mila giggled again, as giddy as a schoolgirl.

“I love fucking you. Er, making love to you,” he said squeezing her shoulder.

“I love it when you fuck me.”

“I love you.”

“I love you too—”

Just then the bedroom door flung open.

“I knew it. Get up! Both of you. Lucifer! You know better than to bang some girl in this house! I’m NOT in the mood for this shit.”

“Hurry up. Get up and get dressed.”

“Dad, get the hell out!”

“No. And I don’t care that she’s naked, I want her to get dressed right in front of me. I’m not leaving this bedroom until she’s ready to go.”

“Go where, Dad?” Lucifer looked at Mila. She trembled, frowned as she struggled to hold the blanket over her nudity.

“I don’t know yet,” Vaclav stated.

YOU DON’T KNOW??

“Just hurry up. I’ll figure it out.”

Lucifer wrenched up his shorts. Then he held out the blanket in front of Mila so she could dress in relative privacy.

“Don’t take her away, Dad. Seriously don’t. She has no where else to go. Her parents are both dead.” Of course that was a half-lie.

“Fine. I’ll let her stay upstairs in Azura’s room. But you two are to stay apart.”

“Why?” Lucifer groaned.

“Because you’re not yet eighteen.”

“That’s bull. Reznik had Cody when he was barely eighteen. You must’ve let him bang plenty of girls when he was a teenager.”

“You’re different from Reznik.”

“How so?”

“I’m not discussing this with you any further. It’s done.” Vaclav steered Mila into the next hallway.

She started sobbing, her cries getting more and more distant. “You promised me, Lucifer! You said this wouldn’t happen.”

Triple, quadruple facepalm alert. The holy motherlode of ALL facepalms.

“I—I’m sorry! I’ll figure something out?” His last two words came out in a mere whisper.
